Pushkin Memorial Apartment on Arbat Street
The museum exposition occupies two floors of house on Arbat Street. On the ground floor you can find prints, watercolors, original subjects of the 19th century, which tell about the theaters, shops, musical life, artists, writers and poets, whom Alexander Pushkin knew. Special space is given to books, almanacs, journals of Pushkin’s time, Moscow editions of the poet. On the second floor there is the museum memorial center, his very heart are Pushkin’s rooms. The poet brought here his young wife after the wedding. They spent here the first three months of their happy family life.
